Medway Culture Club are proud to share the fantastic news that our very own female founder Camealia Xavier-Chihota was recognised for her exceptional leadership with an award from the Voluntary Community Social Effectiveness and Faith Leadership Awards in partnership with MVA , presented by Leader of Medway Council - Cllr Vince Maple.

Born and raised in Medway, Camealia has a desire to be a catalyst for change, developing pride in a better Medway. Since its inception in 2020, she has managed the charity and its volunteer workforce with her unique combination of visionary leadership and hands-on commitment.

“MCC is a labour of love and although the juggle between the charity, my career and raising my daughters - Gabrielle, 8 & Ella, 6 can be full-on, I am inspired by the impact my Grandfather, Asquith Xavier had on our society in the 60’s. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved as a team at Medway Culture Club and honoured to receive this award”. - Camealia.
