Workshop Description

In this hands-on creative session, children will use a variety of print techniques and professional materials to create their own bespoke t-shirt. Inspired by greetings, cultures and flags from across the Commonwealth, participants will design bright wearable artwork and create a Commonwealth-themed t-shirt. Every child will take home their bespoke Commonwealth creations t-shirt to show family and friends, which we hope they will wear as part of the Medway Culture Club Carnival Parade on 8th August at the Royal Engineers Museum. 10:30 am - Drop off. 10:30 am - 10:45 am - Ice-breaker activities. 10:45 am - 1:00 pm - Medway T-shirt making and lesson on the Commonwealth. 1:00 pm - Lunch. 1:30 pm - Collection.
