About the Event
For the 5th annual National Windrush Day, in this interactive workshop we used performing arts-based activities to describe the migration of people arriving in the UK from Caribbean countries between the 1940s and 1970s, who are known as the 'Windrush' generation.
Activities were tailored for 5 – 16 year-olds.
To finish, we served lunch from Wagamama, Maidstone.
