Echoes of Black Britain: Turning Up the Volume on History
🎶 This Black History Month, we’re cranking up the volume at MidKent College, Gillingham on Saturday 11th October 2025 (1pm–3pm) with an immersive exhibition that hits all the right notes.
Travel through the greatest hits of Black British music – from the classical genius of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, to the Windrush-era sounds of calypso and ska, the deep bass of reggae and dub, and the modern beats of hip hop and grime.
